Music in the Library: Rebecca Barnard
Friday 21 June 2019, 06:00pm - 07:00pm

Rebecca Barnard grew up listening to Billie Holiday and Louis Armstrong, and started singing with her father's band when she was just 13.

At the age of 14 she heard Joni Mitchell and Bob Dylan and was hooked, and to this day the cross pollination of music styles is evident in her music.

Rebecca has had a long musical career, founding the band Rebecca's Empire, and singing with artists including Stephen Cummings, Paul Kelly, Tim Rogers, Renee Geyer, Deborah Conway and You Am I.

Rebecca will perform at the library on Friday 21st June from 6pm. The event is free for members and guests pay just $10. Bookings are essential, either by calling 9650 3100 or emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
