The Committee, lead by Treasurer Kevin Quigley, has undertaken a revision of the rules which govern the operation of the Melbourne Athenaeum, last revised and registered in 2007. Members will have an opportunity to raise any questions about these draft rules at the AGM, which will take place in the Library at 1pm on 17 April.

Join us on Friday 2 June for an historic and enjoyable occasion – the launch of the Sisters in Crime's 30th Scarlet Stiletto Awards.
Angela Savage, winner of the 2011 Scarlet Stiletto, will launch the 30th Scarlet Stiletto Awards and host celebratory readings of winning Body in the Library stories from the past two years.
Since 2012, the Melbourne Athenaeum Library has sponsored the Body in the Library Award.
Doors open at 5:30pm and entry includes a glass of wine or sparkling water. The event readings start at 6pm.
