The Melbourne Athenaeum Library will be closed from 4:00pm on Tuesday December 23. We will reopen at 10:00am Tuesday January 6.
We wish all our members a very festive holiday season.
We have another packed events program coming in 2026 featuring some musical favourites returning to the library, including Inventi Ensemble, Ash Davies, Stella Anning, Flinders Quartet, and Ultrafox.
We're also excited to be welcoming some incredible new musicians to the Athenaeum such as Tulliah Goldsworthy, Wattleseed Ensemble, Connie Chamber, and Catherine McQuade.
As if that wasn't enough, we will also be hosting book launches and talks throughout the year, including the annual Gary Morgan oration in partnership with Melbourne Rare Book Week.
