The Melbourne Athenaeum Library will be closed on Tuesday November 4 for the Melbourne Cup public holiday.
The library will be open regular hours on Monday November 3.
The Partridge String Quartet returns to the library with a program including Shostakovich String Quartet no. 8 and Mozart in D Minor.
The quartet formed at the Australian National Academy of Music in 2017 and have received national recognition in prestigious chamber music competitions.
The quartet strives to connect with their audiences through their fresh and creative performances. They have collaborated with widely-recognised Australian artists and participate in festivals, concert series and projects around Australia.
The performance will be held on Friday 21 November with doors opening at 5:40pm for a 6:00pm performance. This event is free for members and $20 for non-members. Bookings can be made through Trybooking using this link.
