The Melbourne Athenaeum Library will be closed from Friday April 18 to Monday April 21 for the Easter long weekend. The library will reopen at 10am Tuesday April 22.
The Melbourne Athenaeum Library will be closed on Friday April 25 for the ANZAC Day public holiday. The library will be open regular hours on Thursday April 24 and Saturday April 26.
A talented group of musicians will present Brahms’ sumptuous Clarinet Quintet and Schubert’s Quartettsatz with the timbres of period instruments on Friday 4th April.
Craig Hill has performed with the Australian Chamber Orchestra and the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra and has been a member of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra since 1992.
He will be joined by Finnish violinist Dr Jaso Sasaki, violinist Jos Jonker (Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and Partridge String Quartet), violinist and violist Meg Cohen (Melbourne Chamber Orchestra, Genesis Baroque and Opera Australia) and cellist Rosanne Hunt (Melbourne Baroque Orchestra).
The performance will be held on Friday 4 April with doors opening at 5:30pm for a 6:00pm performance. This event is free for members and $20 for non-members. Bookings can be made through Trybooking using this link.
